| The Supercharger Store
The Supercharger Store is owned and operated by Terry, Cathy, Bob and Tim Woods
Terry built his first supercharged V8 in 1960 and his first twin turbocharged V8 in 1969 and has been active ever since. Currently Terry is driving a D-1 Procharged 1973 Dodge Charger with a big block. He is also building a 1973 Dodge Charger for competition at El Mirage and the Bonneville Salt Flats. It has a 406 cubic inch B engine with Stage V Hemi conversion heads, Hilborn and Ron’s racing fuel injection and a Terry Woods designed and built crank drive for an F-4 ProCharger supercharger. In a conservative tune this engine will produce 1400 hp and more than 1800 hp in a more radical tune (more boost, more fuel).
Terry earned a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and currently holds 56 patents worldwide.
Cathy is the officer manager of The Supercharger Store and will be the first contact when calling or e-mailing. Cathy has many years of experience working with computers, people and general office work. Cathy worked in Materials Management for John Deere, was Director of Social Services at The Salvation Army and is currently involved in several community service organizations. She has a degree in Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa.
Bob has been building and racing Mopars since the mid sixties. He is retired from the Air Force and made his career in aviation as an A & P mechanic and then as a flight engineer. Bob is presently building a 72 Duster with a supercharged 360.
Tim is a student at Cochise College studying welding and manufacturing technology. Tim is our welding and maintenance/repair technician and keeps the business ship-shape and in good working order.
