This is Robbie Ward's 358 cubic inch engine in his 69 Camaro with an extended length gear drive from The Supercharger Store. Robbie's Camaro was built for a big block so we extended his gear drive to bridge over his forward mounted rack and pinion. Robbie is currently running 7.10 to 7.15 at 198-199 mph and we believe he is currently the fastest F-2 procharged car in the country. As can be seen, Robbie drives his oil pump, fuel pump and vacuum pump off the auxiliary drives provided with the gear drive. Notice also the lead weights bolted to his front frame. As the gear drive is now NHRA approved, Robbie will be running Top Sportsman at NHRA meets real soon.

Robbie Ward ran 7.93 seconds at 180 mph at Brandimere Speedway near Denver on a very bad day, the atmospheric correction was to 8500 feet altitude. Robbie says there is a lot more left in the car. Isn't it nice to see a really fast supercharged car without the huge blower and injector sticking a foot and a half out of the hood!
