"Just a note and a couple of photos to let you know that we're just about ready
to dyno our 440 small block that's equipped with an F1-R and water injection
system. Wound up with heavily worked over Edelbrock heads with relocated
pushrods, offset rockers, R3 siamese-bore engine block, 4-inch-stroke
Scat steel crank, Eagle H-beam rods and JE pistions. I screwed up and
ordered the 59-degree block and we can't get the roller cam in it, so we
popped in a big Comp Cams solid with about .620 lift and 250 degrees
duration at 0.050 lift. Decide to fuel inject it, so I picked out an Electromotive
Tec3r system with 160-pound injectors coil-on-plug/crank trigger ignition.
Had to fab the manifold, plugs and rails . . . had to fab everything else for the
engine, so what the heck . . .Any bets on horsepower? Heads flow 295 on the
intake side and 200 on the exhaust."
